About the maker

Hi, I'm the person behind Between the Strains

A little about me, why I built this, and what I hope it does for you.

My story
Why cannabinoid education matters to me.

I'm a passionate cannabinoid user and lifelong learner who deeply believes in the importance of plant education. For four years I managed a local shop, and something kept happening: people arrived with almost no reliable information about cannabinoids and nowhere neutral to learn. Some had been told by others to come ask questions. That is a description of my experience, not an endorsement by any medical provider.

That experience showed me how wide the information gap is, and how badly people need a place to get straight, sourced answers without judgment. Between the Strains is my attempt to be that place — a friendly, honest guide you can pull up anywhere.

Beyond the plant
The rest of who I am.

I'm a poet, a mother of two beautiful children who are now mostly grown, and a wife of the greatest man, besides my own father, I've ever met. I also enjoy wire wrapping crystals as well as collecting them. I am a music lover through and through — it runs through pretty much everything I do.

And I'm a very proud animal mom. I just love my sweet little hamsters Sunny Bunny & Stella Honey and my two dogs, Rascal and Manny, they keep me grounded and remind me every day that showing up with love matters more than almost anything.

What I believe

"Our bodies have an endocannabinoid system — learning how it works is worth the time."

We each have an endocannabinoid system woven through our nervous system, our immune system, and nearly every organ. Researchers are still working out what that means in practice. My goal with Between the Strains is to make the existing research, safety information, and interaction risks easy to read — not to tell anyone what to take.

A gentle reminder: I'm not a doctor and Between the Strains is not medical advice. Everything here is educational. Please talk to a licensed clinician before changing any treatment, especially if you take other medications.
